With much of the show focused on the art of holidaymaking, viewers’ minds quickly wandered to where The Four Seasons was filmed – out of curiosity or burning wanderlust, depending on where the group settled in.
The first two episodes of series one take us to a spacious lake house, where Nick reveals his true feelings to his friends, triggering an incredibly awkward series of events. Scenes of this 25th wedding anniversary were filmed across various areas of Upstate New York’s Hudson Valley, with properties in areas including Fishkill and Newburgh filmed for scenes.
We’re introduced to Nick’s new girlfriend, post-divorce, in Puerto Rico. According to The Radio Times, filming of the eco-resort took place across Luquillo Beach. Once a hurricane threatens to dampen their back-to-nature adventure, the team find themselves checking into a luxurious resort. In reality, the resort is Puerto Rico’s El Conquistador Resort, a four-star, seaside property that’ll boast 750 rooms in 2026, each with dazzling ocean views.
Come autumn, the friends unite for parents’ weekend at their old university, with Vassar College, Poughkeepsie standing in for the university and other scenes filmed around the town of Beacon.
As the gang heads to the mountains for their winter getaway, we see them tackle the slopes on Mount Peter, a ski area just over an hour’s drive from New York. This is where we find out the news *spoiler alert* that Nick has died in a car crash.
