LOCAL KNOW-HOW

COCO DAVEZ, ARTIST AND PHOTOGRAPHER

‘I love starting the day with an iced latte from Misión Café, which roasts its own beans and whips up great juices.’

Plaza de la Paja, in the oldest part of the city, near where my grandmother lived, is a magical square where I like to sit on a bench and read.’

‘When I need a break from work, I head to La Fábrica, an exhibition space and bookshop that focuses on photography. I rarely come out empty-handed.’

El Rincón in Malasaña is my favourite bar – it serves one of the best tortillas in town. I end the evening with a cocktail at V Manneken, which is like being at a friend’s house. The vibe and music are so good.’
