Ibiza: this magical island is all manner of things to all manner of people. From its booming wellness scene and recent amplification of agriturismo to its legendary reputation as the ultimate place to party, it’s a chameleon, and one that seems to evolve with visitors who boomerang year after year. Packing for a trip is, of course, dependent on how you plan to spend your time, but whatever tops your personal list of the best things to do in Ibiza, this is a chance to embrace a version of self that’s an islander by nature, a child at heart and a traveller to the core.
For days on the sand: swimwear and a slouchy beach bag filled with chain-adorned sunglasses, the best SPFs, and a well-loved paperback. For sangria sundowners on the rocks: easy co-ords and chunky jewellery that translate to dinner dates after dark (and maybe even a party or two). But regardless of agenda, there are a few failsafes we recommend for each and every trip.

A printed co-ord
There are few looks as easy to style as a co-ord – whether you wear them together (as intended, obviously), or style them separately to create a completely different look, the amount of outfit options they offer makes them the ultimate packing saviour. This season’s Second Summer collection is the first place I’ll look when I’m keen to update my Ibiza wardrobe, and I packed the Paloma belted jacket when I visited in March, which worked perfectly in the day with the matching shorts, and acted as a smart top layer in the evening. Stick to muted or tonal colour palettes over rainbow brights for a look that works both in shoulder season and the height of summer.
