It has been over 21 years since Colin Penberthy quit his job at the BBC in London and set foot in Chiang Mai, Thailand. He said it has been perhaps the best 21 years in his life so far. Currently, he is working at the famous Elephant Camp, called ‘Mae Sa’. Colin reveals the dire financial situation in elephant camps and accepts that the future of 70 elephants there relies heavily on domestic tourists.
