Thai PBS World spoke with Professor Aaron Ciechanover, a Nobel Laureate in Chemistry in 2004. His discovery, along with two other scientists, of ubiquitin-mediated protein degradation has significantly advanced research on new drugs and the development of personalised medicine. With a better understanding of disease mechanisms, patients can now be diagnosed in very precise ways. Prof. Aaron also shared with us insights on how to be successful as a scientist.
