Maybe because either American culture and society have changed or Forrest Lee is not the same person anymore, since he has travelled across the world and has lived abroad for an extended amount of time, he doesn’t have any plans to go back home to the U.S. and prefers to remain in Bangkok. He is also a big believer in ‘you are a product of your environment’. He said that is why he likes to be in Thailand and has surrounded himself with Thai people.
