A hotel in Thailand’s Sukhothai province, the business of which has suffered due to the COVID-19 pandemic, has remodeled itself into an outdoor barbecue restaurant, with large model dinosaurs.
The dinosaur-themed eatery is located near Sukhothai airport, where customers, especially families, can enjoy a barbecue, watch the sunset and take pictures with the large dinosaurs.
The manager of Sabai Sabai Hotel said that the staff came up with ways to generate more income, as the number of visitors decreased, and noticed that children love to take pictures of the large dinosaur models in the garden outside the hotel.
They decided to create a camp-style outdoor restaurant, using existing materials and incorporating the dinosaurs.
The restaurant attracts many locals, which the manager thinks is a good way to advertise, as many customers ask for more details about the hotel when they visit.
