Mr Chaturon said he assigned a lawyer to file the petition on his behalf. The petition is for the Office of the Ombudsman to rule that the NCPO order is against the constitution.
He said the NCPO’s Order No 10/2557 to suspend his financial transactions was issued for the reason that he failed to report to the NCPO in a legal case. Although the reason for the suspension is no longer valid, the order is still in force, putting him in trouble for over four years.
Mr Chaturon said it is not necessary for the NCPO to retain this order since he has not done anything against law and order.
According to Mr Chaturon, when he asked for the revocation of the order, the NCPO turned down the request and instead advised him to seek permission to make a financial transaction on a case-by-case basis.
The order is in violation of the constitution, depriving him of basic rights and human dignity, Mr Chaturon said.
