Tham Luang-Khun Nam Nang Non national park was declared off-limits to all unauthorized individuals this afternoon (Wednesday) to facilitate officials in their performance of search and rescue operations.
All vehicles which have nothing to do with search and rescue operations were banned from entering the off-limits zone and only cars with passes issued by officials are allowed in.
Besides officials responsible for the operations, members of the media and families of the 13 missing people are permitted to enter the area.
Meanwhile, Tourism and Sports Minister Veerasak Koesurat said that the government had sought human movement detection equipment support from the US to help in the search operation.
He added that the equipment would be flown in from US base in Okinawa and were expected to be sent to the cave in Mae Sai tonight.
