Barnes Bonfire Night
A friendly community get-together in the heart of Barnes Village, the local sports club hosts a traditional bonfire where a ‘Best Guy’ competition determines who gets to light the bonfire alongside a live DJ to accompany the whizz of firecrackers. Expect classic mulled wine and BBQ staples; hotdogs, burgers and lots of beer. Tickets go on sale on Monday 9 October – booking essential.

Battersea Park Fireworks
This Guy Fawkes Night, Wandsworth Council will be turning out for a fireworks display and bonfire that is bigger and better than ever with a two-night run. Head down on Saturday 4 November for the sparks and food stalls. Sunday 5 November is a family affair with an earlier show time where grown-ups can help themselves to the mulled wine and little ones can grab plenty of sweet treats, and there’s a light display to replace the usual bonfire.

Dulwich Firework Display
Hosted in Dulwich Sports Club, there will be a family-focused fireworks display with an array of food and drinks. Think burgers, pizzas, Indian delights, real ale and more. Expect live music from 5.30pm, with fireworks going off at 7pm. The event is wheelchair accessible, but do contact organisers in advance. There’s a reason why tickets tend to sell out fast, so we suggest booking early.

Wimbledon Park Fireworks
South London presents an evening of fun and games in Wimbledon, with not one but two fireworks displays (an earlier one for kids, and a later show for adults) accompanied by some feel-good pop music and a One Hit Wonders music theme for the later show. As per usual, there will also be a funfair for the kids, plus food and refreshments throughout the evening.

Morden Park Fireworks
If one night wasn’t enough, head to neighbouring Morden Park’s fireworks show the following evening. Keeping with two musical fireworks and bonfires, expect a street food village housing some irresistible comfort foods and cosy drinks to kick off the evening.
