A less-than-traditional Christmas Market, the 3D2D art, craft and design fair makes an appearance at the Assembly Rooms this festive season. Exhibitors welcome Christmas shoppers and general pursuers to marvel at an array of handmade products, from 2D watercolour paintings and photography prints to 3D works including textiles, furniture, toys and silver smithing. Join over 120 of Britain’s finest artists, designers and creators in one of Edinburgh’s most classic period buildings.

Castle Street Christmas Fair
An old faithful market in Edinburgh, this fair has been an annual event since 2007. Lining the street are colourful stalls in the shadow of the iconic castle. Come for last-minute gift shopping: there are lots of local creatives selling their wares here, from arts, crafts and jewellery to woodwork, scented candles and homemade food.
