
One person has died after a car struck a group of pedestrians in a grocery store car park.
The crash took place in a car park of a Trader Joe’s in Los Angeles on Thursday afternoon.
The Tesla crashed into a security stand, killing one and seeing four rushed to hospital, including the driver.
Emergency crews rushed to the Third Street and Fairfax avenue store at around 1.20pm on Thursday.
Los Angeles Fire Department said that one person was pronounced dead at the scene as four others were treated by emergency services.
All four have been rushed to hospital.
The driver reportedly lost control of her vehicle, which caused her to hit a parked car and the pedestrians before smashing into the security stand, according to NBC.
The driver has been described as an 80-year-old woman.
She has also been taken to hospital.
