Founded in 1776 and renamed after its owner in 1833, Louis Roederer is today best known for Cristal, its prestige cuvée dating from 1876, whose name originates from Tsar Alexander II’s wish to have the wine delivered to him in clear crystal bottles.

On this night, the house’s famous Cristal was exquisitely paired with a charcoal-grilled seabass, which guests savoured whilst gathered around tables with some of the best views in London. A melt-in-your-mouth tuna tataki ponzu was an equal highlight, served alongside a Louis Roederer et Philippe Starck Brut Nature Rosé 2015, as was a cantonese duck paired with the house’s Carte Blanche Demi Sec.
