Holidays should start at the airport, and having a peaceful time before take off requires serious thought, from family-friendly attractions to facilities that help keep kids entertained and parents suitably soothed. Thankfully, a new study from AttractionTickets.com, Europe’s largest theme park specialist, has highlighted the world’s best airports for parents and children, keeping everyone suitably relaxed before a trip.

The study tested the airport out of 20 and based the scores on factors including the variety of family-oriented factors, such as if you could hire a pram, dedicated play areas, access to neurodivergent family support and baby care rooms.
London Heathrow scored an impressive 17.5 out of 20 for its baby-care facilities and dedicated children’s play areas – perfect before long-haul flights – proving that it’s a good choice for a families seeking airports with suitable features.
