Paris-based photographer Ludwig Favre’s pastel-tinged pictures have taken him across the USA – and the rest of the world – in search of empty scenes with a #AccidentiallyWesAnderson, Pop art feel to them. In New York, the usually humming streets of Chinatown and Times Square are all but abandoned, while the Sixties motels of Palm Springs in California sit empty in his work. From a plane lost in the Oregon woods to an idealised America, as well as other abandoned, dreamlike destinations, these candy-coloured shots will transport you across the world.
