England mauled Panama tonight with a 6-1 win in their World Cup match at the Nizhny Novgorod Stadium in Nizhy to qualify for the knockout round. It’s England’s biggest win in the World Cup with Harry Kane scoring a hat-trick. England took an early lead in the 8th minute of the game when John Stones headed in a corner kick before Harry Kane scored a penalty kick 14 minutes later. Stones scored again in the 40th minute after Jesse Lingard put in the third goal in the 36th minute with a header. Kane scored another two goals just before the interval and in the 62nd minute. Panama’s only goal came in the 78th minute when Felipe Baloy diverted a free kick from a teammate into the net.
