“LOVE 30” Streets for Life – Thai PBS World Tonight [21st May 2021]

If we go by the number of deaths in Thailand, COVID-19 is not the country’s biggest public health problem, but road accidents are.

About 20,000 people die in road accidents each year, or about 56 deaths a day and many of them happened in the community area.

So, LOVE 30, a campaign launched by WHO to make 30 km/h streets the norm for cities worldwide, is now being hopeful to be contributed in Thailand. As “Roundtable interview in support of the 6th UN Global Road Safety Week” webinar was held on May 19, 2020, under the topic of “Streets for Life #Love30”

But what is the opinion of Thai people that 30 km/h will be the speed limit for driving in Thailand?
