When can we holiday in the UK again?
Written by Travel Adventures

While we’re hoping that hotels in the UK will be able to reopen from 4 July 2020 – the date we’re aiming for according to culture secretary Oliver Dowden – we’re still waiting for guidance from the government regarding if we can holiday in the UK this summer.

If there is no second spike in Covid-19 cases, while a 14-day travel quarantine will still apply for trips abroad, the government has stated that Britons could be encouraged to take summer holidays within the UK in July and August. Boris Johnson’s plans for easing the lockdown would see hotels, B&Bs and campsites across the UK reopen from the start of July, as long as the number of coronavirus cases continues to fall between now and then. While we wait for official news, here are our best ideas on how to spend summer 2020 in the United Kingdom.
