The Pop-Up Hotel
This ‘temporary hotel’ offers respite and luxury just a short walk away from the Glastonbury festival entrances. Sleeping accommodation consists of spacious luxury tents, tipis and caravans, but it’s the additional services that really make this feel like a hotel experience; from the showers stocked with luxury products, to the sauna and ice bath area, on-site spa and – of course – real, comfortable beds. We popped in to check out the Hotel in 2024 and were particularly taken with the pool (a dream on a hot summer day), the restaurant area that felt a world away from the dusty nearby fields and the Free People shop, which was fully stocked with all the festival-ready fashion a guest could wish for.
Why book? For 2027, The Pop-Up Hotel is expanding with two separate locations. Festival Fields, the original site a short walk from Gate D, is the livelier of the two, with DJs by the pool, live music and a 24-hour bar, and is already close to selling out for 2027. New for 2027 is Halcyon Fields, a quieter retreat overlooking the festival, where the focus is on wellbeing, with hot tubs, saunas, plunge pools and yoga. Guests staying at Halcyon Fields also have access to the facilities at Festival Fields, with transport available between the two.
Price: Halcyon Fields rooms start from £337 per person, per night.
