Where was The Blame filmed?

Hertford

Much of the series was filmed in Hertford, the East Hertfordshire town north of London. The pub we see the police gather in is The Salisbury Arms, a Grade II-listed pub with rooms that has seen 650 years of comings and goings – which explains the resident ghosts.

The pub Emma and Lewis are seen in is The Old Barge, a buzzy waterside pub beloved for its sprawling beer garden and delicious British fare.

Scenes shot in the forest used Epping Forest, the 6,000-acre ancient woodland that stretches from the corners of East London into Essex.

The cast and crew turned to the London Borough of Waltham Forest for Tom’s apartment.

Alexandra Palace

The ice rink seen in The Blame is London’s Alexandra Palace. The rink is one of the few places where it’s possible to ice skate year-round, either side of festive pop-ups springing up across the city.
