There are 68 Pavilion rooms scattered around the property and come with beautiful interiors (dark woods, rich silks, and hammam-style terrazzo bathtubs) and garden or partial sea views. Villas here are light and airy, with a layout that mimics that of a home, designed to offer areas for “we” time and spaces for privacy – an ideal choice for families with children or even two couples travelling together. Speaking of, families with children have plenty to get busy with, from rock climbing to archery and kite flying, as well as eco tours led by naturalists who begin with discovery sessions at the incredible Geo Park Discovery Centre built on-site. For grown ups, the spa is one of the prettiest I’ve encountered, with walls bathed in green and a courtyard built around a pool with beds on floating platforms for post-treatment relaxation.
