Outbreaks of rain and isolated heavy downpours are likely to hit the North, Northeast, Central, East and South regions today, the Meteorological Department has warned.

The bad weather conditions are being brought about by the monsoon trough lying across the upper North and the upper Northeast, the active low pressure over the South China Sea and the strong southwest monsoon across the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand.

Therefore, people in all regions are advised to brace for possible flash floods, overflows and landslides.
