LION FIGHT is very pleased to announce that its season has been capped off with a hat trick of honors in the 2021 UFC FIGHT PASS® Awards.
UFC Fight Pass selected reigning and undefeated World and North American Super Cruiserweight champion Steve “Put ’Em To Sleep” Walker, Kansas fan favorite Chance Thackston, and tough-as-nails veteran Chris “Head Trauma” Tramell as award recipients.
“Our first year on UFC Fight Pass was very rewarding and these awards are proof of the talent and spirit of our fighters,” said Lion Fight CEO Scott Kent.
“2021 was a challenging year with COVID protocols along with travel and logistics issues, but we got through it all and we are really looking forward to an even better 2022.”
Here are the three award winners and details on the accomplishment from www.ufcfightpass.com writer Walker Van Wey:
Knockout of the Year: Steven Walker – Lion Fight 64
If only there could have been four winners. Our heart goes out to Justin Barry specifically after he gave us a knockout we’ve never seen before, but Steven Walker gave us a video game knockout. This far-fetched kick would have made movie theatre audiences roll their eyes if it was written into a script, but Steven Walker made it a reality. Can’t take that away from him.

Nickname of the Year: “Half-Ass” Chance Thackston
“Explosive Thin Man” was funny, “Candi Crush” was creative but “Half-Ass” Chance ran away with this category pretty easily.
