An entertainment complex on Rama IX road caught fire this evening, causing damage to the complex and several cars parked next to it.
Initial report said that the fire broke out at App Arena night entertainment complex in Soi Rama IX 6 at about 5 pm from causes yet to be investigated.
Several fire trucks were rushed to the scene and they managed to douse the fire not long afterward, but it was too late to save several cars which were parked next to the complex.
The fire brought traffic in the area which is normally congested to a stand still for hours as the road was partially closed to facilitate fire-fighting effort.
