Premchai tells shareholders he didn’t shoot the panther

Italian-Thai Development president and CEO Premchai Karnasuta insisted that he didn’t shoot the panther and vowed to continue to do his job at the company.

At the meeting of shareholders of Italian-Thai Development Plc to clarify criminal charges levied on him over the shooting controversy at Thung Yai Naresuan wildlife sanctuary, he was asked if he still is qualified to remain as president and CEO of this  SET-listed company.

He replied that he had done nothing wrong in the entry to wildlife sanctuary and didn’t shoot the panther as it was reported.

He vowed to continue doing his job at the company and also dismissed allegations that Italian-Thai Development has been blacklisted for bidding in government projects as he has checked with all relevant state agencies, as well as customers overseas and in the country.

He assured shareholders that all projects pending signing are going normal  without any change.

Premchai faced six charges while four others faced 5-8 charges.
