Phuket police are hunting for a neighbour after suspecting he shot and seriously injured a Thai classical dance teacher, his wife and son on Monday night (April 9).
The shooting took place at about 11.30pm at the house of Somchai Kiengchan, a Thai classical dance teacher, at Tinawut housing estate in Tambon Wichit, Muang Phuket district.
After the incident, Mr Somchai’s son ran out of the house and called for help from his neighbours.
Three people were injured in the shooting, including Mr Somchai, his son Tanawat, and his wife Urarat.
Police found several 11mm bullet shells in the house.
Police said they suspected Mr Onn as the gunman because he had engaged in arguments with Mr Somchai several times in the past.
According to police, before the shooting, a group of students came to Mr Somchai’s house to practice Thai classical dance from noon until the evening when they left.
