Rabies has claimed another life in Buriram province on Sunday, bringing death toll to six this year.
According to the Ministry of Public Health, the latest victim to rabies was a patient in Buriram who died yesterday.
It said rabies outbreak now spreads in 24 provinces since January this year.
They include Bangkok, Surin, Chonburi, Samut Prakan, Chachoengsao, Nan, Buriram, Ubon Ratchathani, Chiang Rai, Roi Et, Songkhla, Rayong, Tak and Srisaket.
Rabies outbreak in 13 provinces claimed 14 lives last year, up from 11 in 2016.
