Aragon vs. Pinto added to MTGP Presents Lion Fight 41
A rising star on the American Muay Thai scene will get the opportunity to showcase his talents at the upcoming Muay Thai Grand Prix Presents Lion Fight 41 event in London, England.
Josh Aragon will represent Lion Fight as he takes on England’s Jersey Pinto in a featured welterweight matchup slated for Saturday, April 7th at the Indigo at O2 Arena.
“I’m excited to be fighting in London and representing Lion Fight,” said Aragon, who fights out of the Sityodtong Gym in Los Angeles, California.
“I want to thank Scott Kent for giving me this opportunity. I’m ready to put on a great show for all the Muay Thai fans in the UK. I’m super excited to be working with such a great promotion like Lion Fight and can’t wait to see what the rest of this year has in store for me.”
Aragon brings a 13-1 record into the bout as he faces Pinto (10-4-1), who fell to Lion Fight middleweight contender Eddie Abasolo via decision at Lion Fight 39 back in November.
Lion Fight will also be represented in the night’s main event as Thai star Saemapetch Fairtex (115-14-1) challenges England’s own Charlie Peters (46-15) for the MTGP welterweight title.
Broadcast details for MTGP Presents Lion Fight 41 will be announced shortly.
