A 14-year old boy was taken into police custody today (March 10) after he allegedly shot dead his 16-year old girlfriend with his father’s pistol.
The shooting incident took place at the house of the young suspect in Ban Samsopha, Tambon Huay Hia, Nakhon Thai district of Phitsanulok province.
The victim was identified as Ms Chanpen Kaewpaithoon, a resident of Village 11, Tambon Ban Yang, Nakhon Thai district.
Police said that Ms Chanpen came to see the boy at his house and, somehow, the two got into a heated quarrel after which the boy grabbed a .38 calibre revolver from his father’s room and shot the girl once in the head, killing her in the house.
