The top five police officers of Somdet Chao Phraya police station were abruptly transferred out of the station to the operations centre of Metropolitan Police Bureau after a raid of a public in the area under their jurisdiction on Saturday night in which several underaged youths and drug abuses were found among the patrons.
Their transfer was ordered by Pol Lt-Gen Charnthep Sesavech, commissioner of Metropolitan Police Bureau following the raid of ID4 pub on Saturday night by police from 191 unit and metropolitan narcotic police.
The five officers abruptly transferred include Pol Col Anurak Yosprasit, the superintendent of the station; Pol Lt-Col Wutthichai Sukonthavit, the deputy superintendent for investigative affairs; Pol Lt-Col Natthachak Boonyarat, deputy superintendent for suppression; Pol Lt-Col Sa-nguan Ruangfang, the suppression inspector; and Pol Lt-Col Narongchai Aekkachan, the investigative inspector.
The five are to serve at the operations centre of Metropolitan Police Bureau until further notifications.
