PM Srettha sets record for trips overseas
Written by World Events

PM Srettha Thavisin has set a new record for overseas trips since taking the office in September last year. During his 176 days in office, he has travelled to 16 countries, spending a total of 52 days, or about 30% of his time, outside Thailand.

Questions have, however, been raised over the benefit to the country of his numerous foreign trips.

Thai people been kept abreast of his meetings with foreign leaders and private firms through his X accounts.

Somchai Sawangkarn, an outspoken senator, said today that “the prime minister has travelled from here to there, but with no substantial or any outcome evident. Please tell me the results of his trips.”
