MGM Resorts parking fees take effect Monday June 6 2016

MGM Resorts has stated that charges will vary for each of its properties, but charges would be applied to vehicles parked for more than an hour. In addition, valet services would also be charged. The MGM Resorts properties are the first to charge for parking on the Las Vegas Strip.

On Monday, Aria, Monte Carlo, New York-New York and Vdara properties implemented the charges. Excalibur, Luxor and the valet at Circus Circus is slated to begin fees on Tuesday.

MGM Grand and Bellagio are marked to begin Wednesday. Mirage, Delano and Mandalay Bay will begin Thursday.

The Delano and Mandalay Bay properties will implement fees on Monday, June 13.

Locals with a valid Nevada driver’s license will be able to park free of charge until December 29th. However, the complimentary parking for locals would not apply for special events, such as those at T-Mobile Arena. MGM resorts has also stated that parking fees would be higher for special events, such as New Year’s Eve.

MGM Resorts explained the parking charges were instituted to upgrade its overall parking facilities. Select properties, like New York-New York, installed sensors above spaces to indicate its occupation.

Parking fees for each property is listed below.

SELF PARKING

Bellagio, Aria, MGM Grand, Mandalay Bay, Mirage, New York New York
0 to 60 minutes: No charge
1 to 4 hours: $7
4 to 24 hours: $10
Over 24 hours: $10, each additional day.

Monte Carlo, Luxor, Excalibur
0 to 60 minutes: No charge
1 to 4 hours: $5
4 to 24 hours: $8
Over 24 hours: $8, each additional day or a fraction thereof.

VALET

For Bellagio, Aria, Vdara, MGM Grand, Mandalay Bay, Delano, Mirage, New York New York
0 to 4 hours: $13
4 to 24 hours: $18
Over 24 hours: $18 each additional day.

Monte Carlo, Luxor, Excalibur, Circus Circus
0 to 4 hours: $8
4 to 24 hours: $13
Over 24 hours: $13 each additional day or fraction thereof.
