On June 1, 2016 at approximately 10:49 a.m. the LVMPD dispatch center received a report of a possible domestic disturbance at a residence located in the 10300 block of Wood Owl Court in Summerlin. When patrol officers arrived at the residence, they made entry to conduct a welfare check on the parties involved.
Upon entry into the residence, officers located an adult male on the second floor landing who was deceased from an apparent gunshot wound. Officers also discovered an adult female and adult male deceased with apparent gunshot and stab wounds inside an upstairs bedroom.
The investigation initiated by the LVMPD Homicide Section indicated that the male discovered on the landing was Aaron Wulf the son of the victims Jan and Arthur. Based on evidence at the scene, detectives believe that the Aaron Wulf killed shot both of his parents then turned the gun on himself. Wulf was an actor who played small parts in the TV Series Monk in 2002, and Girlfriends in 2000. Homicide Lt. Dan McGrath stated Wulf suffered from mental illness but had no criminal record
These are the 72nd and 73rd homicides investigated by the LVMPD in 2016.
